Mobile Diamond Cut Alloy Wheel Repair – Step-by-Step Process
-
1. Booking & Inspection
You send us photos or we assess the damage when we arrive. Once confirmed, we begin the on-site diamond cut process from our fully equipped mobile van.
-
2. Wheel Removal & Preparation
The wheel is removed from the vehicle, tyres are deflated or removed if needed, and the wheel is thoroughly cleaned.
-
3. Damage Repair
Any kerb damage, scuffs, or dents are repaired using specialist tools to restore the surface.
-
4. Face Machining (Diamond Cutting)
The wheel is mounted inside our CNC lathe machine built into the van. A thin layer of alloy is precisely cut from the face, revealing a fresh, shiny finish with crisp lines.
-
5. Painting (if two-tone)
If the wheel has a painted base (e.g. black or grey), we apply the colour and bake it before the cutting stage.
-
6. Clear Lacquering & Curing
A durable, high-gloss lacquer is applied to seal and protect the newly cut face. The wheel is then cured using our mobile heating system.
-
7. Reassembly & Final Check
Tyres are refitted or re-inflated, the wheel is rebalanced if required, and then reinstalled on the vehicle. We carry out a final quality check to ensure the finish is flawless.
